By using ReleaseNames, you agree to these Terms of Service together with any applicable Nominet policies and registration rules.

1. Service Description

ReleaseNames provides a private backorder and drop catching service for UK domain names.

The service is intended for domain names that may become available following expiry, deletion or release.

Submitting a backorder request does not guarantee that a domain name will be successfully registered.

2. Backorder Requests

• Backorders are reviewed before being accepted.
• We may decline any request at our discretion.
• Multiple customers may request the same domain name.
• Orders are generally handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Other registrars or catching services may also attempt to register the same domain name.

3. Successful Registrations

• Payment is only required if a domain name is successfully registered.
• Successful registrations remain under our control until payment has been received in full.
• Transfer or assignment of the domain name will take place after payment has cleared.
• If payment is not received within the agreed timeframe, the domain may be retained, cancelled or offered elsewhere.

4. Pricing

Pricing may vary depending on the domain name, demand, competing orders and registration circumstances.

Final pricing is confirmed before transfer.

5. Nominet Policies

UK domain names are subject to all applicable Nominet rules, policies and registration requirements.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their intended use of any domain name complies with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.

Technical failures, registry issues, competing registrations or external events may prevent successful registration attempts.

7. Liability

ReleaseNames is not liable for loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity or any indirect damages arising from unsuccessful registration attempts or service interruptions.

8. Abuse & Complaints

Abuse reports should be sent to abuse@releasenames.uk.

Complaints should be sent to complaints@releasenames.uk.

We aim to review complaints within five working days.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated or amended at any time without prior notice.
