1. Service description

ReleaseNames provides a managed request service for monitoring and potential acquisition of expiring .UK domain names. The service is not a public registrar storefront and does not provide instant domain registration.

2. Acquisition requests

Submitting a request does not guarantee monitoring, registration, acquisition, ownership, sale or transfer of any domain name. Requests may be accepted, declined or removed at any time.

3. Successful acquisitions

If a domain is successfully acquired, it may initially be registered in the name of the ReleaseNames operator. Any later sale, registrant change, assignment or transfer is subject to separate agreement, payment and applicable registry rules.

4. Operator registration and later transfer

Domains acquired through the ReleaseNames infrastructure may initially be registered in the name of the ReleaseNames operator. Any later registrant change or transfer is handled separately and may require additional checks, documentation and agreement between the parties.

5. Pricing

Unless agreed in writing, pricing is not fixed at the time of request. Pricing may be discussed before or after a successful acquisition.

6. User responsibility

You must not submit requests that infringe trademarks, third-party rights, court orders, contracts or applicable law.

7. No warranty

The service is provided as is. There is no guarantee that any domain will be monitored, acquired, retained, sold or transferred.

8. Abuse, complaints and legal notices

Abuse reports should be sent to abuse@releasenames.co.uk. General complaints should be sent to complaints@releasenames.co.uk. Legal notices should be sent to legal@releasenames.co.uk.

9. Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the website means you accept the updated Terms.
