.UK domain names are operated by Nominet, the registry for the .UK namespace.

ReleaseNames provides a managed acquisition request service for selected .UK domain names. It does not provide public access to registry systems and does not offer instant public domain registration through this website.

Transfers

Where a domain is successfully acquired by the ReleaseNames operator, it may initially be registered in the name of that operator. Any later registrant change, sale, assignment or transfer is handled separately and must comply with applicable Nominet rules.
